I used the tool: Facebook Live.

Facebook Live being situated at the top left corner, below your status box - made it extremely easy and accessible when I wanted to find it. Prior to this, I had never done a Facebook Live so it was interesting to see the layout and options which are available.


The screen which you first see when you select to go Live is nicely displayed, as it doesn't look overwhelming which is especially important as Facebook typically is a platform used by 24-34 year olds (24.8%) - closely followed by 35-44 year olds (18.7) Therefore, by having it more simplistic in comparison to complicated, allows its most popular demographic to access it at its full capability.

Lastly, I tried the tool. It was interesting to see how they have connected Instagram filters as a way to engage with your viewers - which adds an element of both fun and creativity. There was also interesting feature which I hadn't seen before which is the 'more ways to go live.' This included a range of different features such as: mystery mask and popular mask. Whilst all also being to invite other people to participate in your live video which creates further audience participation.
