I started uploading on YouTube roughly aged 13, and my favourite videos to film were Q&A’s or music videos which my best friend and I recorded to our favourite songs. Although sadly now, times have rapidly changed and evolved to where YouTube is full of either Among us videos or fashion hauls. But one thing that hasn’t changed is how easy it is to upload onto YouTube. I personally believe it is extremely simplistic, well-structured and organised, which definitely used to encourage me to upload. It isn’t a ‘lengthy’ process as such, the only thing which may take up time is actually uploading the video; although that is expected if you have a large file. By being able to follow a few easy steps like adding a title, a short description where you can quickly detail what to expect in the video, but also many other optional features like adding tags, cards and whether the video is child friendly or not – emphasises the accessibility and easiness of being able to publish a video online. I personally believe YouTube is a brilliant platform, and one which can be easily utilised by all.
