Life at University
'What will you study in College?' I was asked in year nine, I laughed and responded "Nothing - I don't want to go." Now upon reflection this w.as a childish, uneducated response as you have to stay in education until you're eighteen... but any-who, fast forward to many years later - we land here.
The workload so far has been manageable although at times it has gotten the better of me. Being off from education for so long, I have found it slightly difficult, but I have created a monthly goal which I aim towards daily.
Sometimes, there are days where I feel unmotivated which simply means I won't be productive that day. Although, I've changed numerous things in my routine to make my study days a little easier: a good night sleep, plenty of water, a playlist that isn’t distracting, and lastly snacks!
I am ashamed to admit that I am definitely motivated by food. After certain sections, I'll reward myself with a small snack, and this encourages me to work harder, pushing me to be more productive that day.
Hopefully, soon enough my days will become naturally more motivated, but until then I will happily reward myself with yummy snacks and good quality sleep!
